Top Stock Case Studies

Quarterly, ShareOwner publishes case studies for several timely business sectors. These studies demonstrate how ShareOwner uses its research resources and stock-study guide software to identify a sector’s top stocks – and those to avoid.

ShareOwner 's top stock selections are promising candidates for retirement, tax-free savings and other Take-Home Portfolios.

Students are assigned an independent research project for one of the top stocks identified in the current issue of Top Stock Case Studies. You complete the assignment using the sector case study, its top-stock profiles and the mentorship’s software to develop your own judgement about the stock’s risk and return prospects.

Mentor-led Case Discussions
(plus general Q&A period)

Each month, a mentor leads participants in a detailed discussion (via video conference) of the investing merits of one of the top stocks featured in the current issue of Top Stock Case Studies.

These 60-minute events focus on exploring the range of judgments that participants used when completing their independent study of the assigned stock’s potential rate of return and risk.

As well, the discussion reinforces participant awareness of stocks to avoid because of their unattractive growth, financial and operating fundamentals.

Case discussions are held on the third Wednesday of each month and recorded for subsequent viewing (24/7).

“One of our bank’s managers showed us copies of your magazine [Top Stock Case Studies] and explained what you do… I bought a membership. When a subscriber takes time to “sell” you, I know ShareOwner must be more than a little useful.”
