> Build and manage a well-diversified portfolio of high-quality growth stocks.
> Recognize when stocks in their portfolio become overpriced and move into their Sell Zone.

ShareOwner's mentorship is the first investing education program where participants complete their studies having selected, bought and managed a diversified portfolio of high-quality growth stocks.

Participants can enjoy those key investing experiences by putting only an affordable amount of their money at risk, as little as $10 invested in each of 10 stocks.

1. Investing Education

Initially, the mentor’s online lessons, tutorials and case discussions focus on teaching participants how to choose, diversify and manage a portfolio of high-quality stocks.

Then, participants choose their Take-Home Portfolio (of at least 10 stocks) from ShareOwner’s pre-screened selection of over 200 high-quality companies. It is a Portfolio for personal use in a retirement, tax-free savings or other account.

After receiving the mentor’s written feedback about their proposed Portfolio, participants finalize their stock choices and diversification plan.

2. Investing Experience

During the balance of their mentorship, participants can try out their Portfolio's future returns while continuing their education and its twice-a-month online meetings with their mentor.

The Portfolio Tryout. Participants can make affordable investments of $10 to $1,000 in each of their stock choices. Investments purchase whole and fractional shares to four decimals. Tryout Accounts are administered by our trading affiliate Canadian ShareOwner Investments Inc., and are covered under the Canadian Investor Protection Fund. When the mentorship concludes, participants can continue building their portfolio in a retirement or other account at ShareOwner or liquidate their Tryout Account, without charge.
